The Jasmina Awards Team has been receiving a variety of entries as well as enquiries this past month and it has been a really exciting time!
So, what is the age range of participants thus far?
Entries have come in from participants aged 60 years old right up till 90 years old, and it is a blessing indeed that the stories and poems are penned down for us to learn and take heart from. Apart from one 90-year-old participant, two participants thus far are in their 80s and three in their 70s.
Which category has been most popular?
The ‘Love’ category was an overwhelming favourite amongst participants submitting poems, while for stories, they were pretty evenly spread across the three different categories (My Malaysian Story, Love and Journeys).
How many prizes will there be?
A total of 18 prizes are up for grabs (with three prizes to be won for each category).
Shall I write? Shall I not?
