There are those
no matter how far
make it a hop across
bridges
there are those
though a hop
is a climb over a mountain
Bridge Crossing
short bridges and a bridge too far
effort required
to cross
a bridge
some a hop, some a jump
no stretch can be too long
if you hop and hop and hop
and smile.
Even the gated bridge opens
if you wait
and smile
Bridge crossing
often lead to new vistas
short crossings and long crossings
into another world
into the embrace of strangers
but
there are no strangers
only friends we haven't met
short crossings and long crossings
bridges meet
and strangers
become friends
